HI, I’m Jeff Connell, and I appreciate you taking the time to check out my page here on the website. I’m proud to call the Treasure Valley Home having moved here a little over three years ago. I live in Meridian with my 8 year-old son. Life has been an adventure in the last few years I went through a divorce after a 13 year marriage, so I’ve been navigating a life reboot. It’s been a lot of growth, some lessons learned along the way, and some really “unique” dating experiences. I grew up in Seattle, so I still cheer for the Mariners and Seahawks, and my son and I have adopted both the Portland Trailblazers and Utah Jazz for basketball. We’re still holding out hope Boise will get another basketball team to play. In my downtime, I love to travel, grab my camera and take pictures, and do some “adventures” with my kiddo. I made it to Australia last year which was one of those bucket list trips. Im hoping to add another stamp to the passport sometime soon, and am committed to camping in our amazing Idaho outdoors this summer.

A Huge Relief and a New Place to Call Home
I've shared on here and on the air that I've been searching for a new house. It's been a lot more stressful and challenging than I expected, but I'm happy to report I've found the next place I'll get to call "home."

If you've driven along I84 between 10 Mile and Garrity lately, you've undoubtedly noticed the new construction for the Amazon.com's new distribution center. That project is going to be good economically for Nampa.
Growth Continues at Boise Airport With New Flights Coming
The Treasure Valley continues to grow every month so it's no surprise that the Boise Airport is doing the same. After setting passenger traffic records and ongoing expansion, new flights have been announced.

What’s Old Is New? A Preteen Wants My Old Walkman
I'm going to show my age a little bit, and maybe own up to some hoarding potential, but I have this old Walkman. It's probably about 25 years-old, and a preteen actually wants it.
The Hardest Part of the Workday is Before I Get to Work
For the last five months (and this entire school year so far), I haven't been doing the morning routine with my son. This has been my first week "back on the job," and it's been harder than I remembered.
House-Hunting in Boise is Incredibly Frustrating
For four years, this has been my backyard and the place I've called home. My landlord has decided to sell the house (smart move), so I've been on the hunt for the next home, and it has not been fun.
I Spent an Hour as an FBI Agent…at an Escape Room
Did I ever tell you about the time I was an FBI Agent? Probably not since it just happened last night, and it was only in an escape game, but man it was fun, and I can't wait to do another one.
Changes at Boise Towne Square Mall Continue
No doubt about it, many traditional retailers and shopping malls have seen challenging changes in the last year. Boise Towne Square continues to be an exception and continues to see new tenants.
