Old Folks Have the Most Confidence In Their Appearance

This may explain a lot, and it may be why Grandma rocks the polyester capris and flowery blouses so well.  (My grandma calls capris "coolots" which kinda does make them sound cooler.)

I read today that elderly people are the most confident in their appearance, and at ease with their looks.  Go Grandma!

When It Comes To Driving, There Are Worse Places Than Idaho

If somebody cuts you off in traffic today or doesn't use a blinker, it's apparently just an isolated incident.  Drivers in Idaho are pretty good compared to the rest of the country.  Who knew!

If you're vacationing in the South this summer, that's the place that you'll run into the worst drivers.  Idaho is just the 37th worst.

I Think I Have Tech-Elbow

Does anyone else's elbow hurt?

Mine started hurting a few weeks ago and I passed it off as a freak injury that probably happened when I was picking up the 2-year old to give her a smooch and she wiggled free and twisted my funny bone.  But it won't go away and it's getting worse and I made a huge mistake in Googling my symptoms.

At Last, A List of Acronyms For Moms That Text

I'm one of those rebels that will type words out instead of abbreviating.

I figure I can carve out ten more seconds in my day to type out "running late, major meltdown," and spare my friends the pain of trying to decode what I meant by "RLMM."

This list of acronyms for Moms who text is kind of entertaining though!  Check it out.

Being the third kid is exhausting!  Do you have a child that wants to go, go, go all the time, but can't keep up?

My youngest daughter Piper tries to keep up with her sisters, but can't do it and has been falling asleep in odd places this summer.  That pic is what happens when Piper goes to the pool.

Here Are Some Words We Should Stop Saying At Work

Amazeballs.  What in the heck is that anyway?  Who started it?  It's on the list of words we should stop saying at work. Good!

What else?

I'm an over-user of the word awesome, I'll admit it.  The experts say we need to quit saying "awesome" so much because it makes us look not as smart as those who don't use it.  Really?  Dumber than the amazeballs users?  Okay, I'll own it.  Actually, any of the same words used over and over might show  a lack of creativity.  Okay, okay.
