Areas to Avoid During Construction Season in the Treasure Valley

Construction will be picking up this summer and traffic has already been a nightmare for a lot of people in Canyon County.

If you were on I-84 Sunday or Monday night, you probably saw the first phase of the construction project and you might have been frustrated as it backed up traffic for miles.

The summer project of re-paving roads over the course of four weekends has started so to avoid situations like that ITD and law enforcement are encouraging drivers to avoid I-84 if at all possible.
