It's official, the American Idol reboot is coming back for a second season on ABC.  Think you have what it takes to be the Treasure Valley's next Maddie Zahm or make it all the way to the live shows? You've got an opportunity to prove it this summer!

It's no secret that Boise's Maddie Zahm made quite the impression on Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan during her very special audition. Maddie works as a music teacher for kids with disabilities in the Treasure Valley.  Her special friendship with Marcus, who lives with Down Syndrome, inspired her to get into the career field and helped her regain her confidence after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.  She made it to Hollywood and just missed the cut to go on to the live shows this past season.

Idol must want to see if there's more talent hidden in the Treasure Valley because they're bringing the American Idol audition bus to Boise for the new season set to premiere in 2019!  The Open Call audition will happen in Boise at a location to be determined on Sunday, September 2!

To be the first to know the exact location by registering HERE! Remember that contestants must be at least 15 years old to try and get that golden ticket to Hollywood!
