Idaho is full of storytellers. Visual linguists who have the ability to put an idea on to the big screen. This weekend the "Les Bois Film Festival" premieres in downtown Boise at the Egyptian Theater.

For many years the Land Trust Of The Treasure Valley brought the Scenic Film Festival to Boise that showcased the natural beauty of the Gem State. This year LTTV has broken the mold and created the inaugural "Les Bois Film Festival"

Similar to the ever popular Banff Film Festival  this one day event was created to highlight some of the best and brightest upcoming film makers and show case this amazing state that we call home every day.  There are 15 films in the festival this year, ranging from 1 minute up to 26 minutes long. Not only will local film makers shorts be seen International artists also have submitted films all the way from Singapore, Australia and The Netherlands. Silent auctions as well as fundraising are all part of the the plans for the day.

Doors open this Saturday at 6pm and films start rolling at 7. To find out more about the "Les Bois Film Festival" follow this link.
