Christmas is right around the corner which is super exciting, not only for us but for our dogs too. They are excited about the tree being up and the decorations on display just like we all are. But there are some things you should really make sure your dogs stay away from so they can have a happy and healthy holiday just like the rest of us.

This list was created by Canstar.com of 8 things not to feed your dog this Christmas but I did change it up just a little. Basically I took Chocolate off their list and added something else because we all know not to feed our animals chocolate.

  1. Mistletoe, Holly Berries, & Poinsettias
  2. Anything made with Nutmeg
  3. Grapes or raisins
  4. Avocados
  5. Macadamia nuts
  6. Onions and garlic
  7. Turkey skin, pork crackling, sausages & fatty meats
  8. Alcohol

While some of these are common sense and others you have probably heard before, let's hope your dog doesn't get curious and get into items they shouldn't this holiday season. Wishing you and your dogs the best this Christmas season!
