Animal cruelty cases are horrible and so sad for all involved, and unfortunately that is the reason that 73 cats could be up for adoption at the Idaho Humane Society later this week. The Idaho Humane Society says the Ada County Prosecutor is looking at the case now and will hopefully award the cats to them this week.

Once the Prosecutor awards custody of the cats to the Humane Society the adoption process for all 73 cats can begin, and hopefully we can find them all furever families.

These cats were rescued after a call came was made last month and animal care and control came across 59 hoarded cats, that number quickly grew to 73 after some kittens were recently born.

The summertime is already a very busy time of year for the Idaho Humane Society, so they are asking the Treasure Valley community to help find homes for these furry family members. Even if you can't adopt maybe you can donate food or make a monetary donation, everything is appreciated at this time.
