One thing will be certain on Saturday at Idaho's Largest Garage Sale - there will be LOTS of stuff for sale.  But there will be a few things in particular that pro garage salers will be looking for, and they'll snatch up when they come across them.  Heads up!

    Large Furniture

As long as it's clean, snatch it up.  Sellers don't want to drag it home, and you can usually get a great deal.

    Office Supplies

Think about things like staples and push pins and tape...Stuff you use regularly and can always use more of.  It will probably be cheaper than the big box stores.

    Art

Even if you don't like the painting, you can re-purpose the frame.  And again, the seller would probably rather make something off of it than nothing, and he or she might be willing to negotiate.

    Kitchen Gadgets and Cookware

Things like cast iron skillets and stainless steel pots and pans will last forever, so if you see them, snatch them up.  What costs $70 in the kitchen stores may be $15 or $20 at a garage sale, and it's the same level of durability.

    Jackets and Blazers

Some jackets may be out of season in a few days, and that means you can get a good deal.  As long as they're in good shape and you're confident they'll be the right size for you or the kids this fall, a garage sale can be a great time to buy.  It's also a good place to buy classic blazers and other pieces you can wear to work.  Again, as long as it's in good shape it can save you a lot of money compared to retail.
